A transit of Venus take place when the planet Venus passes directly between the Sun and Earth. Transits of Venus are among the rarest of predictable astronomical phenomena.They occur in a pattern that repeats every 243 years. The previous pair of transits were in December 1874 and December 1882. After 2012, the next transits of Venus will be in December 2117 and December 2125.
It was too difficult to shoot Venus transit with my Canon EOS 1000D with 55-250mm lens. But with the help of cloud i take this much sharp picture. The first image taken on 7:18 am. Picture taken in shutter priority mode with 1/4000 sec. ( max shutter speed ) , ISO - 100 , focal length 250mm (max) , lens aperture F/18.2, exposure compensation -2 step and also little bit clouds
The above image taken on 8:22 am. This time i use Aperture Priority to shoot. Camera model Canon EOS 1000D with 55-250 mm lens. Lens aperture F/32 (max), shutter speed 1/2000 sec., ISO-100, lens focal length 220mm, exposure compensation -2 step
The first two images i capture without any filters. So i use X-RAY film as a filter for my last image. Above image taken at 9:41 am. Picture taken with 55-250mm canon lens, shutter speed 1/790 sec, focal length 250mm, lens Aperture F/12.9, ISO-100, Exposure -2step.
